Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay in Colombo, I found myself at a hotel that proved to be a delightful surprise for any food enthusiast. Nestled in the heart of the city, it stands conveniently between the vibrant shopping areas of Pettah and Maharagama, making it a breeze to explore local eateries. One culinary highlight was my visit to Punjab Grill, renowned for its Halal offerings. I indulged in their butter chicken, which was expertly spiced and beautifully presented. The restaurant's ambiance was inviting, with a decor that marries traditional elegance and contemporary comfort, perfect for a leisurely lunch or dinner. While the food was commendable, I must say that the service added a memorable touch. The staff was attentive and genuinely interested in enhancing my experience. On my check-out day, they even prepared a special meal at my request, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction. This hotel provides a solid base for exploring Colombo's culinary scene. If you're looking to experience local flavors, this place is definitely worth a visit.
